Job Description

Cullum Mechanical is now hiring a qualified, motivated, and reliable Service Plumber to join our Charleston team. A Service Plumber assembles installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. The desired candidate will possess a willingness to work as a team.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling a variety of plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally
  • Installing pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets
  • Testing systems for leaks and other problems
  • Repairing pipes, tanks, and water fixtures
  • Unclogging toilets and drains
  • Diagnose problems, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with other contractors when required
  • Obeying health and safety codes at all times
  • Performing inspections and providing advice
  • Selecting products for installation and repair
  • Communicating effectively with clients.

Requirements

  • Have Service Plumber experience
  • Be able to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
  • Make decisions based on measurable criteria
  • Visualize objects in three-dimensions from plans and drawings
  • Must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50-75+ pounds
  • Have good eyesight (either naturally or with correction)
  • Climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds
  • Stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
