Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate maintains adequate parts inventory while minimizing obsolescence; maintaining proper reporting and financial controls, and ensuring adherence to all practices and policies required to meet these objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Receive trucks and unload merchandise
Stack merchandise on racks and stock the warehouse with tools
Ensure machinery is serviced and functional
Check-in merchandise and affix labels
Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute them to sales associates for processing
Fulfill customer orders
Move materials off racks and package for shipment
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution
Record amounts of materials or items received
Perform facilities maintenance and follow all safety rules
Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code
Carry out tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Lead/Parts manager
Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
Compile inventory balances and price lists
Maintains professional appearance
Other duties may be assigned by management

Requirements:

Must be able to lift merchandise up to 60 lbs
Bend or twist their body
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Must be able to use hands to operate vehicles
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
