Job Description:

The Service Manager has end-to-end responsibility for the technology, costs and quality of a set of IT services, including the support and management of service development, service sourcing, service transition and the continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

Take ownership over security, compliance and reporting processes
act as single point of contact for the entire department for service management related activities
create opportunities for synergies across the various applications by leading service management processes
support risk management and remediation activities processes
ensure stable and efficient operation of services including availability, capacity of services
support with cost and revenue management, financial tracking and reporting
guide technical teams in process implementations and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Proven stakeholder management across several business levels and strong process/project management skills (ITIL training or certification desirable)
service management experience in at least two areas (incident, problem, change, release, risk, configuration, etc.)
strong budget and cost-effective planning and design skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite
continuous learning mindset, highly independent and persistent working style, and ability to communicate ideas effectively
fluent in English
conversational German is a plus
5+ years of professional experience, notably in the IT domain, with Agile Project Management experience (Scrum skills of advantage)
university degree (Bachelor or equivalent), preferably in business administration with a focus on information technology
