Are you a passionate leader dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities? One of our client is looking for a Service Manager to join our service lead team. This is a pivotal role where you will balance effective staff management with the coordination of high-quality community activities and professional care delivery. As Service Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of Team Leaders, Support Workers, and Volunteers. Your mission is to ensure our vision of enriching and supporting the lives of individuals with disabilities becomes a reality every day.
Job Responsibility:
Leadership: Coordinating, attending, and chairing staff meetings, and managing team performance through direct supervision and mentoring
Service Delivery: Developing effective rotas for community activity provision and outreach support, ensuring person-centered plans are followed and updated
Compliance & Safety: Monitoring quality through audits and staff observations to meet CQC and Adult Social Care requirements
Direct Support: Providing support worker cover and direct care provision when required to ensure the smooth running of our services
On-Call Support: Participating fully in the organizational on-call rota to support staff and resolve issues
Requirements:
Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate activities within a social care setting
Strong organizational skills for rota management and the ability to mentor staff in record-keeping and session planning
Must have DBS on the update service and willing to drive vehicle as required
Nice to have:
Flexibility to occasionally cover early starts, evenings, and weekends based on business needs
