SERVICE MANAGER, ADULTS LEARNING DISABILITIES LOCATION: LIVERPOOL Full time, permanent with generous benefits! Job Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee the day to day running of 3 supported living services across Liverpool including one new one which will be opening this year, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support and supervise care staff, fostering a positive team culture and professional growth
  • Develop personalised support plans that focus on individual needs and preferences
  • Monitor service performance through audits, feedback, and KPIs, implementing improvements as needed
  • Lead recruitment, training, and staff appraisals to maintain a motivated, skilled workforce
  • Complete regular supervisions and 1-1's with your team mentoring and empowering them to succeed.

Requirements

  • Experience in a leadership role within adult social care, especially with complex needs, mental health, learning disability
  • Relevant qualifications with minimum of NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or Level 5 Leadership & Management or working towards this
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills with the passion and commitment to want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively. Attend meetings, adhere to all internal policies and procedures
  • Have sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and developing person-centred support plans.
