Kanda is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team in Underdale, SA, reporting to the Regional Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to manage and facilitate service delivery to participants, ensuring their current and future needs are met while upholding person-centred principles and relevant legislative frameworks. You will lead and mentor a team of frontline support workers, providing strong leadership within the organisation and reflecting Kanda's mission and values.
Job Responsibility:
Service Delivery & Operations Management: Oversee the effective delivery of client support services, ensuring alignment with participant needs and compliance with NDIS & other legislative requirements. Develop and implement service improvement initiatives
Team Leadership & Staff Development: Lead, mentor, and support a team of frontline support workers, providing training and development opportunities. Undertake HR tasks like performance reviews and ensure staffing compliance
Participant & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure a person-centred approach, acting as a key point of contact for participants, families, support workers, and external stakeholders
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards and company policies. Identify and mitigate service delivery risks
Financial & Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, funding utilisation (NDIS), and ensure efficient rostering of support services
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Planning: Drive innovation and contribute to strategic plans, staying updated on sector trends
Requirements:
Proven ability to lead people to achieve service outcomes
Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years, supported by relevant education and training
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, engaging confidently and professionally with diverse stakeholders
Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in dynamic, high-demand environments
Exceptional time management, organisational, and administrative skills
Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion
Hold or willing to obtain: Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check & unrestricted Driver's Licence
