SERVICE MANAGER - ADULTS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE. Permanent, full time. Based Crewe. Are you seeking a new challenge and opportunity to lead a service for adults with mental health issues, within a supported living setting? Do you have the leadership and management skills to be able to effectively lead a team and help to provide positive outcomes for people with mental health?
Job Responsibility:
To oversee and lead a team to provide effective support to adults with mental health issues within a supported living service for 20 adults
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies
Lead and motivate a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively to meet service demands
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, health professionals, and families
Promote a positive organisational culture focused on continuous improvement and staff well-being
Requirements:
Proven experience in adult social care management, ideally within mental health, learning disabilities
Level 5 Leadership & Management or working towards this, or equivalent
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Strong organisational and operational skills, including budget management and resource planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and professionals
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles
Car driver preferable as there will be expectations to travel to site and also meetings when required
Flexible to partake in the oncall system ( 1 in 9 weeks)
