Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities, Mental Health & Complex Needs 📍 Skipton (BD20) 🏡 4-Bed Supported Living Service 💰 Salary: £32,000- £34,000 per annum Are you an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager looking to step into a Registered Manager role within a learning disabilities service? Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs? We are recruiting a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialist learning disabilities supported living service in Skipton. As Registered Manager, you will oversee a small, person-centred service supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs, and mobility requirements. This Registered Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a high-quality learning disabilities service, ensuring individuals are supported to live independently within a safe and structured environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and develop a staff team delivering support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs
  • Ensure the learning disabilities service meets all CQC standards and Registered Manager compliance requirements
  • Act as the Registered Manager responsible for service quality, safety, and performance
  • Support staff supervision, mentoring, and development within the learning disabilities service
  • Oversee recruitment and workforce planning as Registered Manager
  • Manage care planning and risk assessments for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Build strong partnerships with families and professionals within the learning disabilities sector
  • Oversee rotas, staffing, and operational delivery as Registered Manager
  • Drive continuous improvement across the learning disabilities service

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within a learning disabilities setting
  • Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC compliance, and learning disabilities best practice
  • Experience leading teams within learning disabilities supported living services
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • A passion for delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities
