Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs? We are recruiting a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialist learning disabilities supported living service in Skipton. As Registered Manager, you will oversee a small, person-centred service supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs, and mobility requirements. This Registered Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a high-quality learning disabilities service, ensuring individuals are supported to live independently within a safe and structured environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop a staff team delivering support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs
Ensure the learning disabilities service meets all CQC standards and Registered Manager compliance requirements
Act as the Registered Manager responsible for service quality, safety, and performance
Support staff supervision, mentoring, and development within the learning disabilities service
Oversee recruitment and workforce planning as Registered Manager
Manage care planning and risk assessments for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
Build strong partnerships with families and professionals within the learning disabilities sector
Oversee rotas, staffing, and operational delivery as Registered Manager
Drive continuous improvement across the learning disabilities service
Requirements:
Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within a learning disabilities setting
Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex needs
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC compliance, and learning disabilities best practice
Experience leading teams within learning disabilities supported living services
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
A passion for delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities
