Job Description

Exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to lead and support a team to provide support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Working for an established organisation who provide support to vulnerable people with complex needs and learning disability across England, we are seeking a skilled Service Manager to oversee services in Blackpool & St Ann's areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and support a team of staff to ensure the compliance and safe service for adults with complex needs, learning disability and some mental health issues
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, fostering a positive and engaging team culture
  • Provide support to your team within 1-1s and supervisions and ensure all performance processes are met in line with CQC legislation
  • Ensure that audits, risk assessments are updated and support plans
  • Be flexible to work and support on shift where required working Monday to Friday and some occasional weekends where needed
  • Be flexible to participate in the on call system

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading teams within a supported living environment for adults with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience with supporting your teams in regular supervisions
  • Ideally hold your Level 5 in Leadership & Management or working towards this. Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Previous management and leadership experience and knowledge of all CQC related legislation
  • Car driver ideally, with access to your own vehicle
  • Flexible, with a positive attitude and person centred approach
