Job Description

The Short Stay Recovery House Service Manager will be responsible for managing a 24 hour crisis intervention service supporting people psychiatric and/or psychosocial crisis who do not require hospital admission. Working at crisis level, the post holder will lead and support the team to deliver short term, intensive, recovery focused interventions that reduce the distress and impact of crisis.

  • primary liaison with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT)
  • receive, review and respond to referrals within agreed timeframes
  • complete initial risk screening, assess suitability for a non clinical environment, and make safe, defensible decisions regarding admissions
  • maintain accurate KPI data, monitor performance against contractual requirements, and ensure the service meets targets safely and sustainably
  • use data to inform service improvement, escalate concerns, and work with the Head of Service to address issues and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • driver licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle
  • flexibility to meet operational needs, will include some weekend/evening on call working
  • requirement to undertake regular spot checks, including evenings and weekends
