Community Integrated Care is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate health and social care professional for a Service Leader based in Penrith, Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, compassionate, and experienced Service Leader to join our team of Advanced Support Workers delivering a person-centred service supporting two individuals with learning disabilities. You’ll help promote independence, wellbeing, and choice in a warm, welcoming home.
Job Responsibility

Taking the lead by driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture
Ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better.
Requirements
Strong, values-led leadership with the ability to manage complex care services and high-acuity support packages
Proven experience leading and developing care teams, promoting a positive, compliant, and person-centred culture
A passion for delivering outcome-focused complex care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, epilepsy, and behaviours that may challenge
Excellent communication and partnership-working skills, engaging effectively with families, MDTs, commissioners, and professionals
Confidence in overseeing training, competency assessments, and supervision, including PEG feeding, medication management, PBS, and risk management
Strong knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards, safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, and governance, with a commitment to confidentiality and continuous improvement
Comfortable using basic IT systems
Professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).

Salary From £31847 to £35125 depending on experience
