Job Description

As the Service Leader and Early Childhood Teacher for our Dharrang Balit Uniting Kindergarten in Clyde North, you will oversee a team to deliver kindergarten programs that support the wider community and provide high quality education and care to children. This unique part-time, ongoing opportunity will provide the right leader with the space to thrive in a program with strong ties to the community. This role is for 47 hours per fortnight (23.5 hours per week).

Job Responsibility

  • Develop an educational program that meets the interests and abilities of each child
  • Drive enrolments and build the program to include other services that meet community needs
  • Create a quality and diverse educational program that sees every child actively participate

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood or equivalent Approved Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority qualification)
  • Current VIT registration
  • Experience gained in early childhood teaching
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • High attention to detail
