Job Description:

As a Service Lead in Community, you’ll lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred services that empower people with disabilities to live inclusive and meaningful lives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with customers, families, and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Guiding and mentoring your team
Ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with Aruma’s values
Playing a key role in service development, compliance, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years in disability services with a relevant qualification in Individual Support or related field
Builds trust through clear communication and strong people skills
Works collaboratively while confidently managing tasks solo
Patient, inclusive, and committed to human rights-based, person-centred approaches
Organised, dependable, and gets on with the job
Open to feedback and continuous development
Brings life experience and empathy to participant and team interactions
Skilled in mentoring staff, managing service delivery, and engaging families
Understands safeguarding, NDIS standards, and legislative requirements
