Job Description:

The Service & Industrial Generator Regional Sales Representative is responsible for proactive sales of industrial product offerings and service. You will use extensive knowledge of products and services, selling techniques, and relationship skills to achieve sales goals for assigned territory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cultivate, nurture, and maintain long term relationships with end users, electrical contractors, general contractors, and/or engineering firms
  • Work with Sales Support to ensure quoted details are accurate, complete and communicated effectively and timely
  • Evaluate customer needs and product and service marketability for assigned territory
  • Grow market share within assigned territory. Set and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals and objectives
  • Responsible for business development for all product offerings and services
  • Responsible for strategic penetration into assigned territory and to identify and pursue targeted markets and opportunities
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, workshops, etc. in a professional and effective manner
  • Serve as the primary contact for markets, industries, and events that have a demand for product sales and service
  • Anticipate and resolve product and service problems and build long term relationships with customers
  • Ability to develop and present clear, detail-oriented reports via the CRM system

  • This position is based in our Marquette office and requires travel to customer locations throughout the upper peninsula

Requirements:

  • Associates or bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience is required
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role is required
