We are seeking a skilled and dedicated service professional in our team who is responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of medical devices as per defined quality standards & optimum utilization of resources in assigned territory and having a strong focus on achievement of customer service excellence. The role is also responsible to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of OR1 Systems at hospital sites. This role demands traveling, hands-on technical expertise, and effective collaboration with customers and project teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of OR1 Systems at hospital sites
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair technical issues to ensure optimal system performance
Conduct regular tray audits of customer equipment
Develop and implement work plans in coordination with the OR1 Project Team
Collaborate with hospitals, modular operation theatre vendors, and other stakeholders for smooth execution of OR1 projects
Address service and support calls at the base location and defined territories
To provide on-site Customer Service Support to customers across the defined region for repair of Equipment of Medical and Veterinary endoscopes
Conduct Preventive Maintenance Programs and Tray Audits as per technical expertise and timelines given
To update call stage in the web portal and escalate calls/ issues to the supervisors/ regional in-charge in timely manner
To generate revenue through Repairs, Accessories Sales, AMCs and repair exchange as per given targets - coordinate to submit estimate, approval follow-ups, spares consumption and invoicing
Conduct training sessions for customers on equipment usage and maintenance
Conduct site surveys to evaluate actual conditions and recommend suitable solutions
Work with customers and modular operation theatre companies to understand site requirements and implications
Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and equipment performance
Prepare and submit detailed project status and service reports to designated personnel
Adhere to safety protocols and relevant regulations during installation and service activities
Identify and report potential hazards or safety concerns to the installation team
Collaborate with installation and sales teams to support project implementation and ensure customer satisfaction
Provide feedback on product performance and customer needs to aid in current and future installations
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation, / Biomedical or Equivalent
Candidate should have basic knowledge of Electrical and Electronics fundamentals
2-5 year of Experience in service, maintenance, or installation (field service experience preferred)
Field exposure required
local language knowledge mandatory
Nice to have:
Knowledge of AV equipment and AutoCAD preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to utilize resources efficiently
Ability to adapt and work under pressure
Sense of ownership and team player
