Job Responsibility

Perform regular inspections, testing, commissioning and servicing of smoke damper control systems, ensuring they are in compliance with fire safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot and resolve faults with smoke damper control panels, actuators, and associated electrical components
Carry out calibrations and adjustments of smoke damper control systems to ensure proper operation during fire emergencies
Commission and service smoke damper control systems as part of new HVAC and fire safety installations
Maintain and repair smoke damper control circuits and wiring, ensuring safe and reliable operations
Diagnose, repair, and replace components of smoke damper control systems, including sensors, actuators, and control panels
Provide detailed reports and documentation of work carried out, including test results, maintenance records, and recommendations for improvements or upgrades
Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide technical guidance on the operation and maintenance the systems
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA, BS EN9999, local fire safety standards)
Collaborate with colleagues and external contractors to ensure smooth coordination of service work and system upgrades
