Requirements

Experienced Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
Qualified Electrical Engineer with a background in static maintenance or field service
Ideally holding C&G 2365 Electrical Installation or equivalent
Comfortable with 3 phase electrics
Background in relevant machinery such as hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, inverter-controlled machinery, industrial machinery, pneumatics
Happy working at height

Job Responsibility

Service, repair and maintain a variety of equipment ranging from hoists to gantry cranes and other associated lifting equipment
Support dedicated installation team with commissioning

Requirements

A background in automation with the ability to test and fault-find on electrical drive systems
Experience working on industrial equipment such as pumps, rotating machinery, centrifuges, separators, and conveyors
Formal electrical qualifications, including 18th Edition certification
Hands-on experience working with electrical motors, PLCs, HMIs, and inverters
Mechanical and process knowledge to support service work
The ability to work independently, managing your workload and customer interactions effectively

Job Responsibility

Electrical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair of automation and drive systems
Setting up motor drives and inverters
Carrying out planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns
Installing and commissioning new equipment at customer sites (industrial, chemical, beverage etc)
Providing technical support and customer training where necessary
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations

You MUST have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer with hands on packaging machinery experience working in the food and/or beverage markets.
You will be a Multiskilled Engineer with electrical & electronic engineering qualifications and specific experience and training on fault finding, modifying & upgrading of Siemens PLC`s, or similar.
We will consider applicants with a track record as a factory Maintenance Engineer who have hands on end of line packaging machinery experience, used in the food and/or beverage market and who have the PLC knowledge mentioned above.

Job Responsibility

Repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end of line packaging machinery with specific emphasis on working with PLC`s, ideally capable of fault finding, modifying and upgrading of Siemens PLC`s, or similar.
Covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, and spending 1 to 2 nights per week away from home, plus working one weekend a month on average.
