Job Description:

The SLA Service Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and executing both planned and preventive maintenance activities for ADB Safegate products and systems, with a primary focus on Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) and Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS) installed at Istanbul Airport. This role involves the remote and on-site supervision of maintenance operations, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are met. The engineer will coordinate and perform system checks, troubleshooting, commissioning, and testing of equipment, working closely with on-site teams and technical staff. The SLA Service Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability and optimal performance of critical airport infrastructure, contributing to safe and efficient airport operations.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee, monitor, and execute both planned and preventive maintenance activities for ADB Safegate products and systems
Maintain seamless coordination between various teams and systems
Personally perform required system tests and take responsibility for proper execution of all activities related to maintenance, commissioning, and testing
Prepare comprehensive maintenance plans for the customer
Plan, schedule, and organize test and commissioning activities in alignment with customer requirements
Act as a key point of contact for the customer regarding maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities
Demonstrate creativity and autonomy in overcoming technical and operational challenges

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related technical field
Solid understanding of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), Integrated Lighting Control & Monitoring System (ILCMS), Advanced Lighting Control & Monitoring System (ALCMS), and Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS)
Experience with commissioning, testing, and maintenance of airport systems or similar industrial automation systems
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues quickly and efficiently
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex activities
Experience in preparing and presenting maintenance plans and technical reports to customers
Ability to assess operational impacts and plan activities around critical airport operations
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers
Ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong customer service orientation
High level of autonomy and initiative
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Willingness and ability to work on-site at Istanbul Airport as needed
Fluent English (spoken - written)
