Job Responsibility:
Provide advisory services to customers and/or third-party contractors on existing and/or newly acquired equipment and components
Provide assistance for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of any equipment and components both on-site at customer locations or in the manufacturing facility
Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements
Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors
Communicate with internal teams on project status, readiness, and/or issues that are resolved as part of QHSE
Train customer staff to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred
Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities
Work independently to complete given tasks and activities while also providing updates to internal teams when necessary
Solve daily basic technical service issues
Requirements:
3+ Years of experience in the field with instrumentation, gas chromatographs, sample conditioning systems, and/or continuous gas analyzers
A technical school diploma in instrumentation or Applied Sciences
A University or Collegial Degree in electronics, electro-mechanics, or instrumentation
Must be self-motivated
Maintain good communication with customers and colleagues
Experience in analytical instrumentation, electronics, and/or instrumentation with a strong work ethic
A valid driver's license is required
