Service Engineer

• Provide advisory services to customers and/or third-party contractors on existing and/or newly acquired equipment and components
• Provide assistance for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs of any equipment and components both on-site at customer locations or in the manufacturing facility
• Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements
• Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors
• Communicate with internal teams on project status, readiness, and/or issues that are resolved as part of QHSE
• Train customer staff to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred
• Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities
• Work independently to complete given tasks and activities while also providing updates to internal teams when necessary
• Solve daily basic technical service issues

• 3+ Years of experience in the field with instrumentation, gas chromatographs, sample conditioning systems, and/or continuous gas analyzers
• A technical school diploma in instrumentation or Applied Sciences
• A University or Collegial Degree in electronics, electro-mechanics, or instrumentation
• Must be self-motivated
• Maintain good communication with customers and colleagues
• Experience in analytical instrumentation, electronics, and/or instrumentation with a strong work ethic
• A valid driver's license is required
