Job Description:

A well-established international engineering company specializing in lighting, power, and safety systems for the offshore, aviation, and industrial sectors. The organization provides end-to-end solutions including design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-performance equipment used in safety-critical environments.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct technical surveys and prepare detailed reports for lighting and control system installations
Supervise, consult, install, commission, service, and repair equipment and systems across Southeast Asia and worldwide
Provide technical and operational support to the regional sales and service team as needed
Supervise and commission new electrical and lighting equipment installations
Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing systems
Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via email or onsite assistance
Conduct site surveys for pre-installation assessments and project requirement studies
Prepare comprehensive reports for all field activities, including photos and findings
Investigate warranty claims and provide evaluation or technical recommendations
Supervise third-party contractors to ensure proper installation practices and quality standards
Provide training and technical guidance to new hires or subcontractors to build competency
Ensure all required offshore, safety, and technical certifications remain current

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical (Instrumentation/Electrical) or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical, supervisory, or commissioning capacity
Fluent in English and Malay, both spoken and written
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Excel
Strong technical documentation and report-writing ability
Willing and able to travel regionally and internationally for extended assignments
Possess a valid driver’s license (D)
Hold valid offshore and safety certifications (e.g., CompEX or equivalent)
