Robert Half is assisting a client in their search of a highly organized Service Dispatcher to join their team. In this role, you will oversee the scheduling and coordination of service technicians, assist with general customer and vendor communication, weekly billing and invoices, enter information in the system for service jobs, amongst other tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate technician schedules to ensure prompt and efficient job completion
Receive and evaluate incoming service requests, assigning priority based on urgency and customer requirements
Maintain detailed records for ongoing service and construction activities
Assist with invoicing and billing updates to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding service agreements and project needs
Organize materials and resources necessary for job execution
Provide general administrative support to maintain smooth departmental workflow
Address customer questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Utilize dispatch and scheduling systems to manage assignments effectively
Follow established procedures and company guidelines in all aspects of the role
Requirements:
Prior experience in dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination preferred
Strong time management and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Comfortable working with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office applications
Detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities
