Northpower is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation of our Matamata depot. This is a key role where you will manage people, projects, and processes to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and the business.
Job Responsibility:
Lead daily depot operations, including people management, fleet coordination, logistics, health & safety, and customer service
Manage delivery of maintenance, faults, defects, customer, and capital works in line with contractual and customer requirements
Drive performance delivery, including financial management, budget forecasting, and achievement of KPIs
Champion safety and quality culture through audits, inspections, incident investigations, and mentoring
Grow and develop the business by identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and improving operational processes
Provide clear leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to your team
Ensure projects, designs, and work packs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
Requirements:
Electrical Practicing Licence, Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Management qualification (Level 4 or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
Strong performance management and coaching skills
Knowledge and experience in HV distribution and design, pricing, and job management
Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and financial performance
