Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support operations in Danville, Indiana. This position focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating inventory-related activities, and helping ensure materials are available to support daily workflow. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where scheduling and accuracy are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for customers regarding parts inquiries and service needs, in person and by phone
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow with service technicians
  • Communicate service updates, estimated completion times, and parts availability to customers
  • Assist with warranty claims and service documentation as needed
  • Receive, process, and track parts orders for service repairs and customer purchases
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Pull, stage, and distribute parts to service technicians in a timely manner
  • Coordinate returns, cores, and backorders with vendors and suppliers
  • Create and process work orders, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Ensure service and parts records are accurate and properly filed
  • Support the Service Manager and Parts Manager with reporting and daily operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized parts and service counter area

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in parts, service coordination, dealership operations, or equipment/heavy machinery environment preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy setting
  • Basic computer skills
  • experience with dealership management systems a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technicians and management
