Job Responsibility:

  • Responsibility for all Multi-Vendor (MV) chromatography instrument contract renewals and new business for MV within existing and new clients in the UK
  • Close cooperation, coordination, and communication with internal sections (service, administration, product management)
  • Responsible for all events, fair attendances, and seminars in the sales region
  • Consolidation of existing business relations as well as establishment of new customers and business partners in the sales region
  • Cooperation with innovations in marketing, sales, and product development
  • Continuous improvement of internal processes for efficient sales transactions in cooperation with other departments

Requirements:

  • A track record of selling Chromatography instruments and/or consumables or existing experience selling service contracts for Chromatography instruments (HPLC, LC, GC) from manufacturers such as Waters, Agilent, Thermo Fisher, Perkin Elmer, Shimadzu, AB Sciex etc.
  • OR you could have been a super user of Chromatography, HPLC, LC-MS capital equipment in a Lab or a Field Service Engineer or HPLC Applications Specialist wanting to move into a sales position
  • Great relationship building skills
  • A “hunter” sales mentality
  • Be able to seek out and convert new revenue opportunities for multi-vendor instrument service contracts
  • Be able to think outside of the box
  • Knowledge of GLP & GMP procedures
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be willing to travel on a national basis
  • Full right to work in the UK without requiring any form of visa sponsorship
