As a Service Channel Sales professional for HVAC & Refrigeration (REF), you will be at the forefront of driving Alfa Laval’s growth in the Spanish market. Your mission is to identify business opportunities and deliver direct sales (sales through our channels network) of our products and services within your defined area of responsibility, whether that’s a specific region, customer group, industry, or product segment. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role through channels where your market insights, relationship-building skills, and proactive approach will directly impact our business success and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval’s HVAC & REF products and services
Optimization and follow‑up of the new industrial heat pump installations to ensure the medium‑term service business
Channel management and business development
Analyze market trends and customer buying behavior to develop effective strategic sales plans with our partners aligned with divisional strategy and targets
Engage with customers through regular visits, meetings, and interactions, focusing on understanding their needs and demonstrating the value of our solutions
Manage your channels grid and proactively plan activities using our digital tools
Develop value-based solutions that address customer needs, emphasizing Alfa Laval’s unique selling points, and follow up to close deals
Use CRM and other digital tools consistently and effectively to support the sales process and inform decision-making
Collaborate closely with experienced sales colleagues and team leaders to maximize results and share best practices
Ensure market coverage and growth exploring new strategic partnerships if needed
Requirements:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or channel sales, ideally within HVAC, refrigeration, or related industrial environments
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and closing deals
Influence skills to get results through others
Able to develop long term commercial relationships
Experience with sales through channels
Familiar with service solutions sales, maintenance agreements, or aftermarket offerings is an advantage
Data-driven mindset and confidence using digital sales and CRM tools
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English
Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within Spain
