Job Description

Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Service Centre Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a fulltime basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits. Job Responsibility

  • Unload containers in a safe manner using the equipment provided
  • Ensure that you are working to the agreed level in terms of speed and accuracy
  • Ensuring that stock is put away in a timely and safe manner
  • Stock rotation – ensuring oldest stock to be at the front of locations
  • Working with Warehouse management and reporting any safety issues
  • From time to time assist other departments within the Company
  • Use the Company's internal system to book in stock
  • Rectify stock to a high standard when required
  • Making space within the warehouse for incoming goods
  • Pick & Pack orders in an economical, appropriate and safe manner using the Company's internal system
  • Load carrier trailers
  • Be required to be trained on appropriate lifting equipment & be responsible for basic upkeep & reporting of faults
  • Report any faulty equipment to the warehouse supervisor or management team
  • Help maintain the general upkeep and tidiness of the warehouse
