Job Description:

Lead the service center for a dynamic, growing power tool company in Japan – a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced manager!

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the daily operations of the Japan Service Center
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for service staff
  • Manage spare parts inventory and pricing
  • Collaborate with Asia service teams to resolve service challenges
  • Prepare monthly service reports and analyze key performance indicators
  • Develop service plans for new product launches
  • Work closely with the Quality team to address product issues
  • Provide technical advice to product managers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in after-sales support, preferably in the industrial tools sector
  • 5+ years of progressive management experience, demonstrating a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Proven ability to analyze service performance metrics and implement process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience working with international standards and regulations is advantageous
  • Fluent Japanese and business-level English communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving
