We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Service Advisor to join our team. This role is pivotal to our success as you will be the primary point of contact for customers, managing their service and repair needs efficiently and professionally. Your excellent communication skills and automotive knowledge will help build trust and loyalty with our valued clients.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the first point of contact for customers booking vehicle servicing and repairs, both in person and over the phone
Provide clear and accurate information regarding service requirements, costs, and timelines
Liaise with the workshop team to schedule and prioritise work, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery
Monitor job progress and keep customers informed of any changes or additional work required
Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle details, and service history
Promote additional products and services, such as MOT testing and vehicle health checks
Support the team in meeting sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Basic understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs
Proficient in using computer systems and software for booking and invoicing
A full UK driving licence is preferred
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
