Job Description

FM Conway is currently recruiting for a professional and motivated Service Advisor to work within our Workshop division. As our Service Advisor, you will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all legislative, statutory, and operator license requirements are fully met and adhered to, while minimising vehicle downtime as much as possible. This is a permanent, full time position based from in Dartford, Kent.

Job Responsibility

  • Acting as a principal point of contact for enquiries reference transport and fleet maintenance queries
  • Liaising with third party workshops and leasing companies on booking requirements and that associated paperwork is received and is correct
  • Utilising booking management system to notify operational teams on booking dates
  • Checking fleet tracking system, Samsara, and liaising with the fleet operational teams to ensure that vehicles are presented to the respective workshops at the allocated booking
  • Raising and closing job cards within Freeway, ensuring all required and relevant documentation and back up information has been uploaded within the job card
  • Dealing with enquires and booking in vehicles at the service counter in workshop reception, listing any known driver’s defects and communicating to workshop

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a service advisor role, or similar position
  • Experience of communicating with a variety of people via telephone, email, and face to face
