Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and professional Service Advisor to join our team in Newton Abbot. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service within an automotive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Manage service bookings, job cards, and workshop schedules
  • Liaise closely with workshop technicians to ensure accurate and timely updates
  • Communicate clearly with customers on vehicle progress, costs, and completion times
  • Upsell additional services and products where appropriate
  • Ensure all documentation and compiling estimates are completed accurately
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop environment
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with dealership or service systems (preferred)
