Service Advisor

• Welcome customers warmly and ascertain their vehicle service or repair requirements
• Manage service appointments and workshop schedules efficiently, maximising productivity
• Liaise between customers and technicians to communicate vehicle issues, repair progress, and completion times
• Provide accurate and transparent cost estimates, explaining services and charges clearly
• Handle customer enquiries promptly via telephone, email, and in-person
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle services, repairs, and customer interactions
• Support the sales team by identifying potential additional services or repairs required
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations
• Promote exceptional customer service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for booking and record-keeping
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced workshop environment
• Full UK driving licence is advantageous
