We are looking for a Service Administrator to join a customer-focused team in Duluth, Georgia. This is a Contract position suited for someone who enjoys resolving service issues, coordinating with customers and partners, and keeping administrative workflows organized. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced support environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist customers by answering questions about products, services, and service-related procedures through phone and email support
Investigate and resolve customer concerns, ensuring each issue is documented clearly and addressed in a timely manner
Review warranty-related requests and determine the appropriate next steps for claim handling and resolution
Provide updates to customers and service providers regarding open service cases and follow through until completion
Create and manage return authorization requests for defective items and coordinate the related administrative steps
Enter and process orders for chargeable service work, while also preparing purchase orders for outside vendors as needed
Examine invoices and supporting documentation to address discrepancies, service questions, and related follow-up items
Assist with internal administrative activities, including vendor onboarding support and general operational coordination
Offer guidance to less experienced team members when needed and contribute ideas that improve efficiency and service quality
Remain available for incoming customer calls and complete additional administrative assignments as business needs require
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
an associate degree in administration, electrical, electronics, or a related field is preferred
At least 1 year of experience in customer service, service administration, call center support, or a similar role
Strong customer support skills with the ability to manage inquiries, complaints, and follow-up communication professionally
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfort working across multiple browser-based systems
Experience with email correspondence, order processing, and general clerical or administrative tasks
Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems is preferred
Ability to troubleshoot service-related issues, including connectivity concerns, while maintaining accuracy and organization
