Our client in Dorval in the construction industry is currently looking for a service assistant for there service department. This candidate is required to manage the daily maintenance & repair service calls requested by our national retail/commercial industry clients while ensuring that the quality of service and customer satisfaction are achieved.
Job Responsibility
Workflow & Data Administration: Oversee the administrative lifecycle of service calls
log new requests, update status reports, and ensure all digital client files are meticulously maintained
Financial & Accounting Support: Manage basic accounting functions, including reconciling service call hours, organizing receipts, preparing initial billing data, and tracking project costs
Support: Execute administrative follow-ups, compile service completion paperwork, and verify that all documentation meets client Service Level Agreements
High proficiency in data entry, file organization, and managing administrative timelines
Requirements
Strong bilingual communication skills – both verbal and written
English-speaking internal and external [clients/partners/employees] located outside Quebec on a [daily/regular] basis
Experience in a construction setting an asset
Versatile and flexible under high pressure situations
Provide direction and solutions to technician’s who are handling the service call
Ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external resources
Strong organizational skills
Has good negotiation skills
