Server

• Engage with residents and guests to provide a memorable dining experience by taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving food & beverages according to service standards, courteously and efficiently
• Collect payments when necessary
• Assist in the appearance and maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times
• Anticipate resident’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
• Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant(s) operations, proper table set-up and dress code
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director and/or General Manager
• Set tables in accordance to Coterie standards
• Serve residents and guests meals and beverages as requested
• Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices
• Review daily menu with residents
• Maintain complete knowledge of Toast and/or POS system
• Take and deliver accurate meal orders
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen
• Clean and reset tables immediately after residents and guests depart
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients and quality standards
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures
• Process payments through the POS
• Acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment
• Complete side duties as assigned
• Review reservations and accommodate requests
• Create a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staff
• Attend Pre-Meal stand up
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience as a server, Fining Dining experience preferred
• Food handling certificate where applicable
• Certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees
• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
