• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
• Guide guests through the menu, offering suggestions and answering any questions
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly
• Deliver food and beverages to the table in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns immediately
• Provide a memorable dining experience by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens
• Make informed recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions
• Keep up-to-date with changes in the menu and promotions
• Identify opportunities to upsell beverages, appetizers, desserts, and specials
• Promote special events, loyalty programs, and other restaurant services
• Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the Toast POS system
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
• Handle any order discrepancies or issues with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests
• Adhere to sanitation and safety standards at all times
• Assist with side work, such as restocking supplies and preparing for the next shift
• Work collaboratively with other servers, kitchen staff, and management
• Assist teammates as needed to ensure efficient operation and guest satisfaction
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

• Minimum of 2-3 years of serving experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and upselling
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Proficiency with Toast (POS) system
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Hourly wage plus tips
