Job Description:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests at Renaissance Nashville Hotel. Set tables according to type of event and service standards, answer menu questions, communicate with kitchen staff, record transactions, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to type of event and service standards
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
Record transactions in MICROS system
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Complete closing duties including restocking items
Present check and process payment
Follow safety and security policies
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
