With a warm and professional demeanor, the Server guides guests through the menu, offers recommendations, and ensures each course is timed and served flawlessly. Collaborating closely with the kitchen and service teams, the Server maintains high standards of hospitality, attentiveness, and efficiency—ensuring every guest feels valued, well cared for, and eager to return.
Job Responsibility:
Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, making them feel welcome and valued
Assist guests in making menu choices by providing accurate information about food, beverages, and specials
Take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and clarity
Serve food and drinks promptly and in accordance with service standards
Ensure proper presentation of dishes and beverages, paying attention to detail
Familiarize guests with the cocktail menu, including both signature and classical cocktails
Make recommendations based on guest preferences and provide descriptions of each cocktail
Suggest additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or special promotions to enhance the guest experience
Encourage guests to try featured cocktails or new beverages
Communicate guest requests accurately to the kitchen and bar staff
Ensure that dietary restrictions and allergies are conveyed appropriately to the kitchen
Continuously monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and professionally
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure everything is to their liking
Present the bill to guests and process payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions
Assist in setting up and clearing tables efficiently to facilitate smooth dining service
Ensure that table settings are clean and properly arranged for incoming guests
Work closely with other members of the restaurant team, including bartenders, host and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
Previous experience in a server role, preferably in a resort or high-end dining establishment
Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with menus, food items, and beverages, including cocktails and coffee drinks
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
