Job Responsibility

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables in a professional manner
  • Present menus, offer recommendations, and provide detailed explanations of dishes and beverages
  • Ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience by anticipating guest needs and preferences
  • Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies accurately
  • Take food and beverage orders clearly and accurately
  • Serve food and drinks according to hotel standards (sequence of service, plating, wine service, etc.)
  • Maintain constant communication with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
  • Check back with guests throughout the meal and ensure satisfaction
  • Set up dining areas, including table settings, glassware, cutlery, and décor
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented service area
  • Process bills, handle payments, and ensure accurate billing
  • Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP standards)
  • Work collaboratively with hosts, chefs, bartenders, and supervisors
  • Participate in daily briefings, trainings, and service updates
  • Support colleagues during busy periods to uphold five-star service consistency
  • Uphold the hotel’s image through immaculate grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive attitude at all times
  • Act as an ambassador of the hotel by providing exceptional hospitality

Requirements

  • Prior experience in restaurant or hotel service (luxury or fine dining preferred)
  • Formal hospitality training or certification is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverages, wine, and service techniques
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • High level of attention to detail and guest focus
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
