Job Description:

Part-time Server Assistant position at Ardor restaurant within The West Hollywood EDITION hotel. Responsible for maintaining clean work areas, completing closing duties, ensuring proper presentation of service items, and providing excellent guest service according to Marriott standards.

Job Responsibility:

Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Follow all company safety and security policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
