Job Description:

A Server Assistant is the heartbeat of the dining experience! In our restaurant Proof they help keep service running smoothly by resetting tables with speed, delivering dishes with care, and keeping the dining room looking amazing. They’re an essential connector between the front and back of house — supporting servers, elevating the guest experience, and helping the entire restaurant operate with seamless energy.

Job Responsibility:

Table Maintenance: Clearing used plates, glassware, and silverware, and resetting tables with clean linens and tableware
Food Delivery: Assisting with delivering food orders to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation
General Support: Refilling water glasses and beverages, stocking supplies, and assisting with other tasks as needed by servers or other staff
Customer Services: Greeting guests, providing menus, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the dining area, service stations, and potentially the kitchen clean and organized
Teamwork: Collaborating with other staff members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment

Requirements:

Customer service skills: Friendly and attentive interaction with guests
Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with both guests and team members
Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, especially during peak hours
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Food handling knowledge: Understanding of basic food safety procedures
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing situations and demands in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
