The Server Assistant supports the front-of-house dining team by ensuring an organized, clean, and well-prepared environment for both guests and servers. This position plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and flow of restaurant operations by promptly clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting servers with guest needs. The Server Assistant contributes to the overall guest experience by upholding Dellshire Resort’s high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and excellent service.
Job Responsibility:
Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently
Deliver food and beverage items to tables as needed and support timely guest service
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, side stations, and service corridors throughout the shift
Ensure tables, chairs, glassware, and utensils are properly sanitized, polished, and stocked
Restock service stations with silverware, napkins, condiments, and other supplies
Support water and beverage refills and assist guests with additional requests
Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining rooms, buffets, or banquet functions
Transport soiled dishes and glassware to the dishwashing area safely and efficiently
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by the resort and local health regulations
Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and back-of-house areas
Maintain a professional, polished appearance and positive attitude in all guest interactions
Perform other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage leadership to support operations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail, organization, and efficiency
Professional demeanor and appearance consistent with Dellshire Resort standards
Ability to remain calm, composed, and guest-focused under pressure
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
