The Server Assistant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team, working in the restaurant to support seamless service and an elevated guest experience while playing a key role in upholding service standards, enhancing the flow of operations, and contributing to the overall success of the dining experience. It is responsible for setting and resetting tables, assisting with the delivery of food and beverages, and promptly clearing and cleaning tables throughout service. In addition to maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, the Server Assistant works closely with Servers and other team members to ensure that guest needs are met efficiently and with genuine hospitality. The restaurant embodies all Four Seasons cultural standards while operating under the Ramsay Standard, with an emphasis on professionalism and excellence expected in any high-level restaurant or hospitality environment. This role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and is overseen by the Director of Food & Beverage.
Job Responsibility:
Setting and resetting tables
Assisting with the delivery of food and beverages
Promptly clearing and cleaning tables throughout service
Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
Working closely with Servers and other team members to ensure guest needs are met efficiently and with genuine hospitality
Maintaining a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for every guest
Having a basic knowledge of the food and beverage menu items
Providing the set-up and break down of the restaurant tables and/or bar area while maintaining an overall clean environment
Working with team members to ensure guests are always taken care of
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills to ensure guests have the best experience possible
Capability to maintain a high level of physical mobility
Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required
Experience in a similar role with a luxury or upscale restaurant is a plus
1-2 years preferred
