As a Search Engine Optimization Specialist, contributing to IKEA’s goals for growth and positioning by improving the visibility of our website content in digital channels.
Job Responsibility:
Provide SEO (search engine optimization) expertise across all digital channels
Analyze, review and implement SEO content changes and strategy to the digital channels, to increase visibility of our content on all major organic search players
Research, analyze, benchmark and follow up the category content area and implement recommendations by constantly being updated on new platform algorithms
Perform ongoing keyword research and content copywriting with deep knowledge of the country market
Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure quality content is being implemented across campaigns and platforms
Regularly report on SEO key performance indicators and insights to inform performance and planning of website content
Work with content editors, web specialists, merchandisers and other departments to drive SEO in content creation and optimization and recommend content improvements
Contribute to and collaborate on global SEO projects
Collaborate closely with SEM (paid search) to find the best balance across organic and paid search for content and landing page opportunities
Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
Analyze SEO performance data using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, BrightEdge, and others
Monitor, track, and report on organic search performance, keyword rankings, and site visibility trends
Develop and maintain Looker Studio Dashboards and Reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of the content strategy for SEO
Intermediate understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
In-depth knowledge of digital analytics and related KPIs, as well as data handling and manipulation
SEO-specific tools knowledge (e.g. GSC, BrightEdge, Majestic SEO, crawlers etc.)
Strong knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) tools, debugging HTML, AMP & PWA implementation, JavaScript and CSS
Digital communication knowledge blended with IKEA tone of voice
Fundamental knowledge of traffic acquisition, content optimization and conversion
Up-to-date knowledge of customer behavior, trends, digital best practices, tools and methods
