Job Description

Better Collective is looking for an SEO Manager to join our Paris team. In this strategic role, you will be the engine for our organic growth by leading the SEO strategy for our flagship websites in the North American (USA & Canada) markets, within the demanding iGaming sector.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and drive the complete SEO strategy (On-page, Off-page, Technical) tailored for the North American markets
  • Build and execute an ambitious SEO roadmap
  • Analyze North American SERPs, conduct market research, and run competitive benchmarks
  • Lead site migration and/or redesign projects
  • Monitor and analyze performance (traffic, rankings, conversions)
  • Conduct in-depth technical audits
  • Analyze link profiles
  • Define relevant keyword and internal linking strategies
  • Establish a 'Test & Learn' culture
  • Act as the go-to SEO expert
  • Collaborate with developers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our global SEO processes

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of confirmed experience in SEO, with a strong technical focus
  • Fluent English (C1 level or higher required)
  • Expert mastery of SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, crawlers like Screaming Frog, log analysis tools)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex analysis)
  • Solid knowledge of web languages (HTML/CSS/JS) and their impact on SEO
  • Proven experience in managing migrations and/or redesigns of high-traffic sites
  • Deep understanding of E-E-A-T concepts and their practical application
  • Strategic vision for AI's impact on search (SGE, Generative AI) and how to adapt SEO strategy accordingly
  • Experience with or strong understanding of Google Discover and/or Google Top Stories
