As our SEO Specialist for the fitness vertical, you will play a vital role in executing and optimizing client SEO campaigns. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving measurable results through SEO, this role is for you. Working collaboratively with internal teams, you will help improve our clients website visibility and Google Maps presence. The position requires a solid understanding of SEO best practices, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibility:
Local Search Optimization
Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) for multiple locations
Improve local map pack visibility through strategic updates, category enhancements, and regular posting
Keyword Research and Analysis
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-impact search terms
Evaluate keyword competitiveness and trends to guide content planning
Perform SEO audits and provide strategic recommendations tailored to client goals
On-Page & Technical Local SEO
Partner with Content, Design, and Web Development teams to optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headers, content, and UX
Implement structured data for local businesses, services, and FAQs
Apply best practices for URL structure, internal linking, content optimization, and overall site experience
Collaborate with Web Development to resolve technical SEO issues and implement improvements
Perform regular site audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, and other technical concerns
Content Strategy
Support the development of SEO-driven content strategies
Optimize existing content for search performance and user engagement
Conduct localized keyword research to uncover ranking opportunities
Create or assist in developing location-specific blogs, landing pages, and service pages
Build tailored SEO strategies aligned with individual markets or regions
Link Building
Develop and execute link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority
Identify and secure high-quality backlink opportunities
Citation & Listings Management
Audit, create, and maintain accurate business listings across relevant directories
Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all platforms
Utilize tools such as BrightLocal or Agency Analytics to monitor listing performance
Performance Reporting & Analytics
Track and analyze SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and local search visibility
Leverage tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GBP Insights, and SEO platforms for data analysis
Competitor & Market Analysis
Evaluate competitor local SEO strategies to identify growth opportunities
Monitor algorithm changes and adjust strategies as needed
Stay Updated on Industry Trends
Keep current with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and evolving best practices
Proactively suggest and implement innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:
Proven SEO experience with both strategic planning and hands-on execution (2–4 years preferred)
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, or similar platforms
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Clear and professional written communication with attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Critical thinker who consistently looks for opportunities to improve processes and performance
Nice to have:
Experience managing and updating GBP citations
