SEO Manager for Sweden responsible for defining and executing local SEO strategy to drive organic growth and visibility in both traditional search engines and emerging conversational platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Define and execute the local SEO strategy with a focus on driving organic growth and visibility
Perform search demand analysis and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities
Monitor and report on SEO performance using dashboards and SEO-tools
Troubleshoot, identify, and communicate SEO improvement opportunities
Stay on top of SEO trends, including AI-driven search and conversational platforms
Collaborate with content teams, training and guiding them to apply SEO best practices
Contribute local insights to group-wide SEO strategies
Support implementation to drive qualified traffic and business growth
Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams
Take ownership of technical SEO performance by proactively monitoring key metrics
Requirements:
Proven experience in working with SEO and hands-on technical SEO
Strong understanding of analytics and reporting, able to translate data into strategy
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. content, developers, marketing)
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
A proactive, curious mindset, adaptable to changes in the search landscape
Ability to manage priorities, balance detail with big-picture goals
Independent and solution-oriented, while also thriving in a team environment
Comfortable taking the lead on SEO projects and open to close collaboration with colleagues
