Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cliste Hospitality as Group SEO Manager on a 12-month specified purpose contract. You will lead the strategic direction of all Group and client websites, overseeing the rebuild and launch of a significant number of sites - modernising their architecture and discoverability across traditional search engines, answer engines, voice interfaces and AI-powered search. Working with Marketing Account Managers and the wider digital team, you will translate commercial goals into scalable website strategies that grow organic visibility, improve customer acquisition and maximise direct revenue.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and deliver the strategic roadmap for all Group and client websites, aligning platforms with brand, customer journeys and commercial objectives
  • Lead the rebuild and launch of multiple websites, ensuring best practice in architecture, performance, accessibility and SEO
  • Ensure sites support both traditional and emerging search environments, including voice and AI-powered discovery
  • Oversee CMS governance, hosting infrastructure, external web partner relationships and platform budgets
  • Architect and deliver a phased AEO/GEO/VEO/AI-SEO roadmap per website, covering on-page, off-page, technical SEO and link-building
  • Manage international SEO strategy including hreflang, geo-targeted performance and multilingual content optimisation
  • Lead the Group’s Google Ads strategy and external paid media agency relationships, ensuring alignment with website and landing page performance
  • Monitor KPIs including cost per acquisition, conversion rate and revenue contribution
  • Own website KPIs and reporting across traffic, conversion, UX and organic revenue, with monthly performance reviews and corrective action plans
  • Maintain a real-time website dashboard (GA4 or equivalent) and oversee usability research, heatmaps and session recordings
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with Account Managers and integrate insights from GA4, SEMrush and campaign data to drive improvements
  • Lead and develop a Website Executive, setting clear objectives, providing SEO coaching and maintaining strategic oversight of delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior website, SEO or digital marketing role, ideally in hospitality or a multi-brand environment
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge and hands-on experience with GA4, SEMrush or similar tools
  • Familiarity with emerging search environments: AEO, voice search and AI-powered discovery
  • Experience managing Google Ads and external paid media agencies
  • Strong communicator who can translate digital strategy for non-technical stakeholders
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and proven team leadership experience
