We are excited to welcome a hands-on SEO Manager to support organic growth for First Choice, working on a large-scale travel platform as we continue to evolve our digital experience. This role will focus on delivering technical and on-site SEO improvements, working closely with Product, Development, Content, UX and Paid Media teams, as well as agency partners. You’ll play an important role in helping implement our organic search strategy while developing SEO expertise within a major brand. This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO specialist or manager looking to deepen their technical SEO skills and gain experience working on a complex, high-traffic website.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver technical SEO audits and diagnostics across crawling, indexing, site performance, structured data and site architecture
Monitor site health and identify technical SEO issues and opportunities
Work collaboratively with Product, Development, Content and Paid Media teams to support implementation of SEO recommendations
Translate SEO findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support delivery of SEO initiatives across technical, content and on-site optimisation
Work with agency partners to implement SEO recommendations, reporting and ongoing initiatives
Support testing and learning around emerging search trends including AI-driven search and evolving SERP formats
Contribute to wider UK SEO initiatives and share learnings across the organisation
Help drive organic growth for First Choice through continuous optimisation and collaboration across digital channels
Requirements:
Solid technical SEO knowledge and understanding of crawling, indexing and ranking fundamentals
Understanding of JavaScript SEO, HTML, rendering, Core Web Vitals, hreflang and structured data
Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Botify, Conductor, SEOmonitor or similar
Experience working with development teams to implement SEO recommendations
Understanding of international SEO concepts such as hreflang
Exposure to server log analysis or interest in developing this skill
Comfortable working in agile environments using tools such as Jira or Confluence
Able to clearly explain SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive, hands-on approach with confidence to identify and solve SEO challenges
Curious about how AI is shaping search and interested in testing new approaches
