We are looking for an ambitious, self-starter SEO Manager to join our team here at Vertu Motors.You will play a pivotal role in our multi-disciplined agile search team. This team combines specialist skills and works together to create customer focused strategies to deliver seamless, relevant and personalised customer experiences across our Group portfolio of lead gen and ecommerce websites. You will report into the Head of Search but will support your full team in the development and delivery of an SEO programme which will increase organic visibility, traffic and commercial impact across the group’s websites. Working closely with your team you will own the technical SEO workflow and support content requirements to ensure our websites are best in class. Through an in-depth understanding of our audience needs you will maximise the sites coverage from early customer research through to customers ready to purchase their next vehicle.
Job Responsibility:
Development and delivery of a sector leading SEO strategy across multiple websites
Full ownership of the technical SEO performance, working towards ambitious visibility and commercial growth targets
Maximising all SEO opportunities to achieve best in class results continually
Conducting in-depth technical audits to ensure on-page best practice is maintained whilst seeing these findings through to execution and impact review
Building out keyword segments which meet the customers ever evolving search journeys to ensure users are served the right content for their needs at the right conversion stage
Managing internal linking strategy and site user navigation
Collaborate on the content strategy to maximise SEO opportunities
Local search and GBP management
Reporting on SEO KPIs and business objectives
Developing relationships internally and externally to aid delivery
Staying at the forefront of SEO and contributing to our AIO and LLM strategies
Requirements:
Strong hands-on SEO experience for a business with multiple offerings
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with Product, PR, Content and Paid Marketing teams
Clear and confident communication skills
Experience in building out keyword research which match user journey and intent
Experience in working with external agencies
Keen eye for detail and real appetite to problem solving
