The SEO Expert & Content Strategist leads content-driven growth initiatives and elevates our digital presence across channels. This role drives strategy and execution for our owned media—website, email, content assets, SEO, and thought leadership—while also shaping digital best practices for client-facing work through SEO and training. You’ll be a key player in advancing our public sector mission: Helping government and higher education teams launch accessible, user-centered websites that work as hard as they do. Core responsibilities include building and executing marketing campaigns, creating and optimizing content for SEO and conversion, executing social media strategies, drafting email nurtures, and paid and other organic digital marketing activities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and lead our content strategy to support lead generation, sales, and brand authority
Write, optimize, and publish blog content targeting key service areas
Plan and create quarterly lead-gen assets (whitepapers, guides, webinar follow-ups)
Craft compelling case studies showcasing impact across government and higher ed
Lead SEO efforts for the Promet Source website: Audits, technical SEO, on-page optimization, and conversion strategy
Analyze user behavior and optimize digital pathways to improve conversion
Provide SEO insights, training, and audits for select client projects
Manage weekly and monthly newsletters
Manage email campaigns that support asset and webinar promotion and lead nurturing
Collaborate cross-functionally on product and campaign messaging
Translate Promet’s expertise into thought leadership content for LinkedIn
Develop reusable social and content frameworks for cross-team use
Use campaign analytics to identify areas of improvement and growth
Deliver SEO audits and strategy recommendations for clients
Create or optimize content for public-sector websites with accessibility and search visibility in mind
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital strategy
Strong research, writing, and editing skills with a strategic mindset
Experience managing multi-channel marketing initiatives from strategy to reporting
Proficiency in HubSpot, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking, Google Search Console, Looker Studio
Nice to have:
Familiarity with public sector or higher education audiences
